A little about me…

My journey to a healthful life began in high school when I
became interested in cooking. Watching the Food Network became a hobby of mine (it still may be) and I began to understand the power of food. I did not grow up in an exceptionally healthy household and learning to make nutritious choices started casually. Each choice led to more questions and I wanted to learn more. In college I decided to major in dietetics. As I navigated my way through college classes and a social life I found a love for fitness. The combination of healthful food choices and incorporating fitness into my everyday life has shaped my belief that everyone can achieve carefree nutrition.

I am currently a Registered Dietitian living in Philadelphia. Prior to living in Philadelphia, I lived in Maryland where I attended the University of Maryland and received a Bachelors of Science in Dietetics. In 2014, I moved to Philadelphia to complete my dietetic internship with an emphasis on Medical Nutrition Therapy. I currently work in acute care and I also teach group fitness classes.
